Sunday out on the lake.

The mechanic's friend and former tech came over to check out our boat and to see how fast it would go. The mechanic needed a little help getting the boat through the weeds.

Here our friend, and avid boater himself, noticed a little problem.

 Problem solved and away they zoomed to the other side of the lake.

Other people were enjoying the lake as well.

Our lake attracts barefoot skiers as we do not get lots of boat traffic and not much large boat wake.

The barefoot skiers hang on to the side of the boat as opposed to being pulled in the back.

 Love this toads camouflage outfit.

Finally the end of the stain glass show. This piece is large, it fell and and had to be repaired.

The mechanic's mom loved this piece so much she made book markers out of a photo.
You can also see where she had to replace the glass that broke.

Today started off wet...

Lunch for the mechanic was a BLT.

Then I prepared blueberries for freezing.

 Then I marinated boneless skinless chicken breast for dinner.

Then since I was being lazy I walked around the yard.

...the mechanic hates crab grass.

The mechanic did his chores...

The mechanic doesn't have a smart phone but he tries to keep up on his TV technology. So my son came over to help install Roku 3.

Me...I'm missing the grandchildren...

Boneless, skinless grilled chicken breast. potatoes and green beans and a salad.

Today at FAR...technicians get in all kinds of weird positions while working on cars. I love the light wood grain on this Honda Accord. Our technician was replacing a A/C blower resister.

This afternoon at work the mechanic took this picture of a soft shell turtle. For the past two years it has crossed the road in front of his shop to get to the creek behind him.

This week-end...

Beautiful evening in North Central Florida. Except for the Yellow Flies! We have an owl living in our trees and as I was trying to get a picture I got eaten up by the yellow flies and no owl picture.

The deer are taking over...this is from my son's boss...on their way to a job.

Wednesday

I just finished listening to Wild by Cheryl Strayed.  I really enjoyed it, but the mechanic has nothing to  worry about, seeing as how I am afraid of the dark, I have no plans to hike 1,000 miles alone in the wilderness!

The stain glass...a planter.  We were given a green one but it came crashing down and broke, so the mechanic's sister gave us her mauve colored one.

In addition to sunflower sprouts we were given pea sprouts. I love them both equally.

Dinner...it was the mechanic's lucky Wednesday...T-bone steak for him.
