My closet is done! Love it.

That's a purple sweet potato...I've been seeing them at Ward's and have been wanting to try one.

Dinner...

Steak, corn and a a salad.

The curtains are up. Now I need my clock and some art work up on the walls.

We are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  The spare bedroom carpet was installed today.  My closet should be installed tomorrow...then the kitchen back-splash...then little things...then the deck...then we will be done for a few years!

Dinner..........................

Tilapia, sweet potato patty and broccoli.

With this remodel, I admit I have worried about every decision the mechanic and I made...as we will have to live with them for a long time.

Wednesday

The new decking was delivered today.  We love new wood.

The banana trees look so sad.

We aren't sure if the bananas the mechanic picked will be edible.

 This hawk lives outside my office...the boss called me outside to take it's picture.  This was the best I could do before he/she flew away.

Dinner...meatless Wednesday....

Bake potato, shakti mushrooms with onions and tomato, avocado and romanesco cauliflower salad.

This is what 81 years old looks like...Happy Birthday Mom, I love you.

I brought her French pastries and a magazine...she says at 81 there isn't too much else she wants.

The twin is moving right along with removing our old deck...and the mechanic has ordered the wood for the new decking.

Dinner

Pork patty, avocado, bok choy, broccoli, onions and a green bell pepper.

It's not cold tonight, but I thought I'd get ready for tomorrows cold by making  soup.

Pumpkin, carrot, celery, onion and potato soup.

We have been having internet problems...the phone guy was here today and the electrician will be here Thursday to rewire...why not,everything else is being redone!

Sunday we had a beautiful day...

The mechanic and the twin decided it was a perfect day to burn.

Dinner...

Tuna, turnips with spinach and cherry tomatoes.

 Desert on a Monday.

The mechanic brought home strawberries grown by one of his customers in his greenhouse. Plus my homemade chocolate candy.

TGIF

Still cold in North Central Florida.

 The granite is in...I'm making a new healthy no-wheat bread recipe given to me by my boss. It sits overnight before baking.

 The back-splash is next.

 My son and his boss installed my reverse osmosis water system...he upgraded my facuet to match my water facet. Love them both.

Dinner...steak, bake potato, spinach and a salad for me.

Sunday

It was a beautiful week-end...a tad bit cold for Florida...

The mechanic mowed the leaves.

 I moved my computer desk next to the new windows.

During the remodel, our dining/kitchen table separated.  The table belonged to the mechanic's grandparents...I believe it was sent to Florida from up north. It was constructed with pegs...so he glued it back and  held it together with the twin's clamps.

I did a little reading...love this book.  It was recommended on one of the blogs I follow. Thrift books is a great site for ordering older books.

One can buy lots of healthy convenient veggies at Publix.  My new kitchen lighting is going to be great for taking pictures.
