New Years Eve

Morning...

Evening...

Photo from the campers...

I've had the bunt pan for at least 42 years.  It was cheap and over the years I've tried to replace it with more fancy and expensive ones but it seems like I only know how to use this one!

This is a delicious moist cake no frosting needed...we ate it at Stacy's house and she emailed me the recipe...the only thing I changed is I used applesauce instead of oil.

The boys loved it!

Currently reading...love this little book...trees will never be the same to you after you read this book...

Connor left me a little drawing on my knitting work sheet...I guess he thought multiple hands would work when knitting...

Dinner...

Turkey, gravy, mash potatoes, Lima beans and corn.

Saturday

Snap Chat from Stacy...

Photo from our neighbors...snowing everywhere but where they are at!  Thank goodness for fake snow!

Addie photo bombing my photo of the difference in size of Stacy's camera tri-pod and my phone tri-pod.

My little phone tri-pod works...

Here Addie opened her gift of this big egg that is hatching out twin babies...

After they hatch they are and act like babies then over a few weeks they become toddlers...

Dinner...

Roasted some veggies and tossed them with leftover spaghetti noodles.

Added leftover pork for Gary.

Salad with avocado dressing

So blogging is like exercising...the longer you put it off the harder it is to get back to it. That's why I blog and exercise daily...it's easier.

We survived the Christmas holiday...Chris is much better...the grand-kids came for a visit...and that sums it up!

It's cold and misty and that weather pattern will continue for a week per my meteorologist Gary...

Gary and I are dog sitting for Zoey...Stacy, John, and the grand-kids are going camping...

...and dog sitting for our neighbor's dog...they are on a ski vacation...

Gary mowing leaves...still loving his new mower...

He bought a few bags of river rocks to fill in some holes on our road...I dumped the bags and he used his cane to even them out😁

These cuties were very good this year...Santa proved that...

Dinner...

Meatloaf for Gary

Freshly picked butter lettuce for me and Gary

Potato, carrot, celery and barley soup for me.

Gary is under the weather with a stomach bug...No work for him yesterday...but Elvin did send me a few photos...his oldest son...future tech...visiting the shop.

Believe it or not...this is the first time I've cooked a steak...Gary (being raised on a cattle ranch) has always grilled them...but he wasn't up to cooking tonight...and this steak has been in the frig for a few days and needed cooking...

This was for Chris...he only ate a few bites as he still can't eat very much...He is slowly getting better.

Between the hospital and both boys being sick...I've had to be quiet around the house...so I quietly read...

First novel in awhile...it was very good...hard to follow at times...

And the beet goes on...
