Stormy day...

After Chris' doctor's appointment we went to the fish store so he could buy new fish for his aquarium...

So many beautiful fish to chose from...glad I didn't have to decide...

If you are looking for frozen mice...they sell those as well. 😖

The fish are adjusting to their new soundings...

Soup of the day...acorn squash...Chris and I agreed it's our favorite so far! The mushroom soup didn't agree with his tummy.

These spices add so much flavor to the soup...cinnamon, paprika, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Chris' soup today is cream of mushroom...he said it tasted like Campbell's cream of mushroom...

I'll take that as a compliment. 

This is another kitchen gadget...silicone gizmo to pull or push the oven racks...works great.

Gainesville stayed a sleepy college town for so many years...not so now. Highrise's are all around the University.

Gary and I did our new normal Saturday run to the lake house...lake's up with all the rain we have been getting...

Plants are doing fine without us...

Not sure what kind of critter was in this very small egg shell...

Pop up tomato plant...I think it's one of the tiny tomatoes I grew a few years ago...

Yep the old man still has pool duty...

Chris thinks it's a bit early for a green soup...didn't agree with his tummy...

Chris is on a liquid diet these days...his favorite soup is tomato. This is my second attempt.  It was delicious and a keeper recipe...the first attempt...not so much 😕

I enjoy walking in the daylight as opposed to walking in the dark...loving time change! I try for at least 20 minuets after dinner and dishes 🏃

 It's the little things in life that bring us pleasure...I've enjoyed the Florida seasons watching this Japanese Maple tree in Dom's backyard...
