The twin surprised me with an early birthday present...Something I have wanted for a while...

My own Adirondack chair...He took apart the one his mother gave him years ago and used it as a template to make mine...LOVE IT!  He made it out of Cypress Wood.

The days are getting shorter and shorter...my view driving to work this morning...

Everyday I have lunch with my mother.  I enjoy watching her preparing meals she made for us back in the day.  Today she is preparing a Puerto Rican dish of boiled green bananas and Yautia.  These are eaten with a little olive oil drizzled on top.

Me...tonight I made what I call juicy chicken.  Brown chicken...add whatever veggies you want or have on hand...cover and cook for about 30 minutes.  Serve with Soba noodles.

We are welcoming a new member to our family...My niece (my brother's daughter) just had her second baby yesterday....A very big boy almost nine pounds...he joins is sister Layla.

The mechanic and I visited the grand kids last weekend...The girls went shopping and boys stayed home to play games and watch some football.

 I had so much fun shopping at the Mall with Addie.  She was such a joy...well behaved...never got tired and never wanted anything.  She straightened out jewelry, clothes and played with make up.

 She helped her mom...

...and swung on the racks in the dressing room.  One day I will try downloading a real video, but you can see how cute and how much fun Addie was to take shopping.

On my way home today...a little bit of trouble for someone...looks like someone lost a load of some very large  pipes!

As I was getting ready for bed the mechanic informed me that he had just seen an owl swoop down and snatch up a frog.  I went to the living room not really expecting to see anything...but the owl came back for another frog.  I decided to grab my camera again not expecting to see the owl again...but it came back for another frog!  What a treat...still loving the new windows!

Flounder, baked eggplant, shredded zucchini with onions, tomatoes and Parmesan cheese.

I have been talking about buying a new bathing suite for years.  Being petite and not liking to shop I have not had any luck.  So I took the risky step of ordering a...on line...on sale... non returnable bathing suite.
Praise the Lord it fits and I love it.  Mexico here I come!

Moving nuts and seeds from one container to another.

So...you are probably wondering how that little California Haas Avocado is doing.

She/He is doing good, growing like a weed...but it will never catch up to the the Florida Avocado.

I love my daughter's Instagram picture. My phone has a large screen but it can't hold a candle to seeing it on my computer. What cuties they are!

This little Gap t-shirt I bought for my grand-daughter makes me smile...and it's so soft.

We are sad that the very large pine tree on our lake front is dying...the twin wants to help cut it down...but the mechanic isn't ready.

At the very top of the tree the twin and Stacy spotted a very large woodpecker.

Our son-in-law bought a new truck...2014 Toyota Tacoma...They met us for dinner on their way home from their vacation at the Panhandle.

 Looks like Addie approves.
