TGIF AND TBT

I forgot to post a TBT photo yesterday...we have been having internet issues! But really I just forgot.
Here is our green card photo taken before leaving France to move to California... probably 1959.

While taking a picture of one of my favorite trees at the shop a hawk flew and stayed on the fence for about 10 minutes...
Our friend Billy stopped by the shop to bring me a little early birthday gift...It's helps when friends and family appreciate your weird interests.

 Oops...looks like Chaz broke the oil drain bucket...

I went on a gasket hunting trip to O'Reilly's to match a needed gasket...

Chris sent me pictures of a beautiful tree in his neighborhood being cut down. The trucks front wheels are off the ground.

 So sad...

When I got home my new lizard skeleton was placed with some of my other dead bodies...

Morning...

We have been one busy shop this summer...all bay are always full and more outside...

I find all kinds of stuff when I do my morning trash pickup...wonder who left this Lego behind?

So...I waited in line for 25 minutes at Walmart picking up a few items for mom...but I did get this happy face sticker as a consolation...so I'm happy.

I'm not sure what happened to this palm tree...it's leaning on the power line...looks like the power line is helping hold it up somewhat.

Looks like more homegrown spinach and okra for dinner tonight...

Dinner...

Barbecue drumstick, just picked okra with tomatoes, onions and parsley over yellow rice and spinach.

We are having a light drizzle tonight...

Used engine going in...

Elvin helping Chaz who has not been feeling well this week...a cold possibly...

Dinner...

Grass fed beef patty, corn, kale with bacon and potatoes and avocado.

Stacy, her mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friends attended a Tri for the mind ( run/walk, yoga and meditation)

Looks like it was held downtown and what a beautiful day..a hot day, Stacy reported...

Meanwhile my brother Xavier was hard at work building an entrance to his Japanese garden...

Gary driving his old 1984 Brown Chevy Truck...over 300,000 miles and going strong...we took it to the dump.

My friend Barbara sent me this photo...wanted to know if my pet spider, Charlotte, was looking for a boyfriend...cause she had one hanging around.

We are still harvesting okra and bell peppers...

Dinner...
