TGIF

So...yesterday the twin and Gary drove to Lake Butler to pick up the new Snapper riding lawnmower Gary ordered for himself...his old one was worn out.

Gary says the new model is much improved over his 17 year old one.

Clean up day at the shop...

Plus the twin stopped in for a visit...

My mother likes to cheat and change her calendar early...

TBT

Radishes are so easy to grow...but Gary and I haven't been able to grow them to a descent size...but he didn't give up...

Sexy...

One of our outdoor tables...It's sad to be old and worn out...

Wednesday

Dom's yard is loving the rain...

Gary enjoyed watching the Gator baseball teams's big win yesterday...

The twin treated himself to a new 65 inch Sony OLED TV and sound bar for his 66th birthday day last week...

Some people have speakers that take up most of their trunk...

...and they have fancy batman speakers...

I'm drinking Kombucha tea at the shop...

...and Chris is drinking organic gator aid...

Dinner...

Pork chop, rice and kidney beans, spinach and baby artichokes.

Salad-Romaine lettuce, fennel, mung sprouts and half an avocado.  I read the outer leaves of greens are the most nutritious since they fight off more pest and diseases...that's why you see the brown outer leaves in my salad.

Three weeks later

Sooooo...it's been three weeks since I posted. I was at Dom's for two weeks and the internet was down for three weeks at the lake.  I threatend to hug the repair guy for fixing the problem.  He thought the road pole was struck by lighting...we were the only ones affected.  His advise for faster service was to complain about no phone and not no internet as I did.He said back in the day they had 72 hours to fix a phone line problem. I will remember that.

I took mom to get a long overdue haircut...we ended up at a guys barbershop! She was pleased...that's all that counted. After I drove her to the new Butler plaza to see all the changes as she worked at the Walmart there 20 years ago. She wasn't thrilled with all the changes. She thinks Gainesville is losing it's small town charm. So do I.

With over 22 inches of rain even the critters are water logged...

Looks like Addie likes being wet...

The lake's come up...and it's still raining as I type...

Dinner...

Chili (made by my mom) and yellow rice and a green salad.
