Happy Birthday Connor!

The mechanic and I drove down south to help celebrate our grandson's 6th birthday. How time flies!
His birthday is Monday...
Connor took this picture of his gifts...
...and this picture...he is into money...
There's a computer in that big box...

 Addie had fun helping Connor...

Of course the boxes are always the most fun!
 The grandpa's...

We ate at one of our favorite pizza restaurants.

Loved this painting of my favorite veggie...
It rained the whole way there and back...

We had had to get off the interstate due to a traffic back up...I thought this was cool...cars on top of a roof at a gas station...

We had a great day with the family...I'm getting lazy, these are all phone pictures...I need to get the coolpix camera out again.

The Pecan Grove tonight...

 Blueberry blooms...
Some people buy wine for the name...
Energy bars for my mother per her request...Almond butter, hemp seeds, oats, almond flour, apple butter, honey and cocoa powder...put in fridge then cut into squares. Mom has the flu and a cold!
More egg muffins...

Dinner...Chili...I used to make chili by making spaghetti sauce then adding chili beans...this is my mother's recipe...much better...but not as good as hers.

My morning view right before leaving for work...while the rest of the East coast  is under record breaking snow...we were a balmy 27 degrees!
Wards added a new section of chocolate and dried fruits...bought some dry sour cherries for Chris...should be good for his gout.

The twin caught a four pound largemouth Bass!

The Week-End

Saturday we had a dead pine tree taken down...the twin recommend his neighbor for the job...the crew...
It was a sunny cool morning...

The best part was...the mechanic and I never had to lift a finger!
As you can see the tree really needed to come down!
I bet all the snow bound people up North would love to have Geraniums blooming in their yard!
Dinner...the twin caught and cleaned these Bream for us! There were delicious!
 Egg, milk and corn meal...
The mechanic fried them to perfection...

Fried Bream, spinach, tomatoes and asparagus and an avocado somewhere on the table.
I also made egg muffins for Chris to try out...

Spinach, red and yellow bell peppers, onions, Prosciutto and eggs.
