Just finished this old classic...I read it and now Gary is listening to the audio book on his I-pad. I never saw the John Wayne classic movie...plan on watching it this weekend.

 

We had a section of our pool deck raised. We are in the process of fixing up our pool which was installed in 1994. The deck will be redone along with resurfacing the pool. But first we had to have a section lifted. Insurance company did not like the 6" difference.

They drill holes and pump foam into the holes.

Hard to see in photo but there is a 6" difference....they couldn't level it completely as they were afraid of braking old pipes.

We purchased a new shed because the old one had deteriorated. Also we wanted one closer to the house for easy access.

The old one had years of neglect and armadillo digging...

Two trailer loads taken to the dump by our handyman and his wife.

Plus a tree came down on it...
