Thursday

I'm guessing Chris went to a car/truck show!
In case anyone any wanted to know...my first car was a blue Super Beetle. I bought it when I lived in Germany (1973) ($1,000) and it was blue.
Maybe I should put my new white tail deer skull on my Acura!
I've seen this picture on several blogs that I follow and I thought how cool it would be to drive on it.

Our clivias are blooming.

Chris bought me a lettuce knife...works great...
 Saturday night dinner,..

Sunday is for getting food ready for the week...
Pickled beets, wash lettuce and parsley, make blueberry muffins and cook my artichoke...

Monday

Well...tax season is here, I've been working late. I miss my early morning lake views. Plus it's been cold...hard for this Florida sun worshiping woman to take.

The mechanic is a tomato lover! I wondered if he would like these chocolate tomatoes from Wellborn, Florida...he did.
I'm not sure about these pyramid tea bags. They are weird...but the tea Pineapple Chamomile is delicious.
The boss is giving a speech to the Rotary Club on organ donation...he is a big organ donor proponent as his late son was an organ donor.

Sunday

Chris and I went to the flea market today.
I wanted to check out kitchen equipment...

...instead I found something else I wanted...
I added this white tail deer skull to my collection!
 Chris needed a new belt.

...I liked this guy's antlers...but he wouldn't give them up!
Dinner...the last time I cooked beef liver was when I was pregnant with Stacy.
Soak liver in milk for a couple of hours.

Liver and onions
Chris sent me a picture of half a chicken he baked.  He is really enjoying cooking.

Sunday

Yesterday the mechanic and I drove down south to visit with grandchildren and their parents...
We went out for Pizza...while the grown ups were getting the food the kids and I played...and why were the kids wearing jackets...because it was cold in Tampa!

Addie saving all her hugs and real smiles for her dad...
We met Marley...I must say he is a beautiful cat...and he loves to play...Connor taught him how to climb up to the top bunk bed so he could sleep with him.
...we can't forget a picture of Zoey...
...Marley has fit in very well with his new family!
Stacy took me to Trader Joe's...even though we have one in our town I've never been and wanted to check it out.

It has been a gloomy day...overcast and misty.

Dinner...
Grilled marinated chicken breast, collard greens and green beans.

Thinking of Paris today.
