Beautiful mornings like today almost makes me glad I get to work early!

I tried out my Ninja blender on cauliflower for making cauliflower rice...

It did a great job...the cauliflower was very finely chopped just how I wanted it to be...Cauliflower rice is not Gary's favorite, but if I cook it with olives and capers he will eat it without complaining.

Dinner...

Grilled Lamp chops, cauliflower rice with onions, garlic, bacon, olives and capers, green beans and a salad.

I've been wanting to stop the spread of the non-native elephant ears in our yard...so after mowing them down the twin brought over his tarp...hopefully this will work.

It's a good thing I love blue cheese because Stacy sent me home with half a one pound tub!

Flowers everywhere...well at least at Lowe's...

I drove a customer's car to the tire store we recommend for tires...one of our many services...

Lately I've been reading on the benefits of crushing garlic as opposed to cutting the cloves...My mom and dad brought this wooden mortar and pestle from Puerto Rico...over there they have always crushed their garlic. I used it for many years then put it away for many years...looks like it's back to work.

 In Puerto Rice they add salt and other spices when crushing the garlic...

Dinner...

Flounder, yellow brown rice, okra, onions, celery, garlic and mushrooms...and salad

Grandma and Papa bought Addie the book "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywait. Grandma read the book to us.  It is one of the cutest children's book I've seen.

For Addie's fifth birthday her aunt Nancy treated her, Stacy, Grandma and BeBe to a tea luncheon.
