The grandchildren and their parents drove up to celebrate Christmas after Christmas with us...


first Connor and Addie helped pick up debris leftover from the wind storm we had


and each visit here
John replaces
several rotten boards off of the dock

Only 26 degrees this morning...






Started the morning making G some fresh squeezed orange juice...


Christmas Eve we had a storm...mostly wind...


...one dead tree down...


...messy pool...


and a candlelight dinner as we lost power for about six hours...


...good thing the lasagna was already baked...the garlic bread didn't make it.


Christmas Day...



We visited with my mom and Dom...

I finally shopped at the new Winn Dixie. The one that took over the Lucky's Market spot...



Must say it's not as hippish as Lucky's but it's not bad. Same lay out. Publix needs the competition.

rainy days and Monday's always get me down

Today Devin worked on a small bus that was converted into a camper...It has a regular truck engine.



It's outside decoration...

Devin is 6" tall
i was able to stand up straight 


I went outside tonight to look for the "Christmas Star" which appears every 800 years. G. coached me where in the sky to look for it. I think it's that tiny little bright dot. It was the brightest star out there. That's all I had to go byšŸ˜
