Looks like Connor is enjoying his summer days!


Today I was talking with a customer who I know grows a vegetable garden for her large family. I wanted to know how she handled the excess produce. She said after years of canning she started freezing all the veggies.  Since she doesn't use pesticide she just cuts them up and freezes them. She also doesn't blanch them. She freezes some of her green bell peppers whole to use in making stuffed peppers. She stuffs them without thawing them, she says they stuff easier that way...to I am trying her technique...




Dinner...

Shrimp, red bell peppers, corn, mushrooms, Lima beans and tomatoes and spinach.
