I drove mom to her haircut appointment...the place is just like in the movie "Steel Magnolia"

I borrowed Chris' battery tool to remove the screws from the rotten veggie beds...

The tool made it easy to remove the screws but today it's hot and muggy so I'll finish up tomorrow, I hope.

 I worked in the yard this morning...three rotten wooden veggie beds gone...two to go...I also need to remove screws from all those boards before I compost them.

Yep that's me in the pool...I got so hot this morning that I jumped in...well not jump as I don't like to get my hair wet...

I had lunch with my friend Barbara...

We also went to Books-A-Million for her to buy her grandchildren new books...then we went to Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby is setting out their Christmas merchandise. 😬😬😬

Devin brought this Jeep he is restoring to the shop...

Well now that we can't text and drive I guess I'll watch the road...actuality you can text at a red light.

I tried two new recipes this morning...I made the broccoli flatbread...

Turned out pretty good. These can be used to make sandwiches instead of bread.

I also made these nibbles for me...if they were for Gary I would have added chocolate chips😊

They are good.

With all the rain we had the week Connor was here he didn't get to show us his skating abilities until the last day he was with us...He's pretty good!

Sure do miss these cuties...
