I had lunch with my friend Barbara today (we were so busy talking I forgot to take pictures) so dinner was light as I wasn't too hungry!

It was a beautiful morning for about an hour!

Most of the weekend looked like this photo Chris sent me from his front porch...

Last week I took Addie to my favorite store...

...and we went shopping...

Addie is so grown up...does everything for herself...

My mother is the last born of eleven children. Today my aunt, her only surviving sibling died. I feel she died young at 86 as most all the women in my family live to their 90's. Even through we did not see each other often, she was one of my favorite people. It was always her dream that Gary and I visit her in France. I wish we would have done just that.

Saturday

Spent a few hours cleaning my cast iron pot...my mother bought this one for me about 28 years ago...hope it stays clean for an other 28 years...tool provide by Gary...

My first time making bullet proof coffee...coffee, grass fed butter and coconut oil in my Ninja blender...it was delicious just a little messy...

 We are still eating cucumbers...

 My mother always salted and squeezed the water out for her cucumber salads...

Gary in his happy place...how many remotes does he need...

Dinner...

Grilled London Broil, green beans with garlic and a tomato cucumber salad.

Addie is allowed to have Chocolate Chex cereal at BeBe's house...but she only likes the chocolate ones! So I spoil her by picking out the white ones.

 She eats her peas frozen!

...and now she liked salad dressing with her avocado...

Stripped cars are fun to climb on.

Addie went with me to drive a customer to work...I gave her a little tour of where her mother went to school and where she will go! (Maybe)

She is the best little helper...

We did let her have a little play time...

ADDISON

Soooo....Gary and I have had a fun four days with Addie who wants to be called Addison...who starts kindergarten next week!

Addie turned into a fish this summer...swimming was our main activity...

I have to say she is a lot of fun and the cutest!

She enjoyed the car wash but she said it was loud...

She helped with the recycling...paper was hard as she was a tad bit short...

 ...but she has a good arm...
