I'm enjoying my daily walks in town...love the Halloween yard decorations...can't wait for Christmas!

Of course I love anything that has bones...

This is my Halloween attempt at being festive...I'll try harder at Christmas.

I miss my beautiful lake sunrises and sunsets...this morning John helped me out with this one.

 City life wasn't for Gary so on a sad note he is back home in the country...

On a happier note I had a nice birthday surprise...the grandchildren and their parents dropped by for a visit and brought gifts!

It's also nice to see my big kids together...

Of course cooking was involved...

Addie read the recipe to make sure we were following directions...

I enjoy walking in the expensive fancy home neighborhoods but Chris' neighborhood has young families with children.  That's to say I enjoy the children, dogs and holiday decorations.

We are working on this vehicle for a local body shop. It hit a pole.  Engine is ok so they were lucky.

I think I would invest in a seat cover if this were my car.

Snap Chat from Stacy...looks like a fun day for the grandchildren...

Looks like someone was having fun doing donuts in front of our subdivision...

I'm having a hard time getting use to a gas stove...I mean your cooking with flames! I burn myself at least once a week. Three time last week. After cooking on a electric stove for over 45 years I'm not sure I will ever get use to gas.  It's been 8 months and I'm still struggling 😖

Gary has mostly cooked our meat outside on his grill...so I'm not a fan of the nasty cleanup frying  indoor cooking presents... all this to say I'm glad we now have a grill.

Tried these plant based noodles for Chris...they come packaged in water...

You dry them in a pan,,,

Then add whatever sauce you like...
