It's a good thing I'm not afraid of snakes...as I've been spotting quite a few of them recently...

One of my favorite possessions...a snake skeleton found by my son.

Gainesville is known as Tree City...trees everywhere and I love them, but when I see something like this...this close to home it's scary.  From what I could tell (I was driving) the tree missed the house by inches, but did down a power line.  The scary part is it didn't look like the tree had a large root structure and we really didn't have that bad of a storm or gusty winds.
