Molly
We will miss our Grand-dog Molly. Chris had to put her down yesterday. Molly was almost 13 years old. I am told that is old for a boxer. She was a sweet and loving companion to Chris. We will miss her.
Elvis will miss her as well.

Chris sent me these pictures of the two orchids he bought yesterday.
This dragon fly was in the pool. We are having the outside of our house painted starting tomorrow. The sand you see in the pool is a result of hiring a guy who doesn't know what he is doing and he pressure washed it into the pool...the mechanic had a lot to clean up last weekend.
Just one of our little outdoor critters.Just 8 inches long.
Our painter/contractor brought us some George apples from his trip to the Blue Ridge mountains.

The week-end
The mornings started out with fog...
I did relax some...
Chris and I went to Kanapaha Botanical Garden for their annual Orchid show.
I love Ponytail palms...saw a miniature one...bought myself one and my son-in-law one.
I love these large lily pads.
It's hard to see but there is a small alligator in this picture.
Dinner...Sunday night...it must be the mechanic's fried chicken...the chicken tonight was one of his best...crispy outside moist inside.

TGIF
Our lake is used for practice by our local High School girl's crew team.
The twin is admiring my new Adirondack chair given to me by the mechanic's older brother and wife. Good-by old green plastic chairs!

Cruise part eight and final!
Here we are all dressed up for dinner.
The dinning room...I didn't take food pictures but I can report that the food was good. That night we chose the lobster and shrimp dish.
Here we were at the bar watching the FSU game.
View from the glass elevator...
This is the life...relaxing in the sun.
We had beautiful weather the five days we were at sea...sometimes it was hard to find shade!
Back home...Tampa...
As soon as we arrived at port the cell phones came out. Stacy had 147 work emails...me none!
It was a perfect girl's getaway/60th birthday. Thank you so much Stacy...I love you more than words can say.
...and when I returned home...the mechanic said next time he was going with us!

Cruise part seven
For our day in Mexico, we chose a sailing excursion. We sailed the Americas Cup sailboat, the Stars and Stripes.
We were ferried to the sailboat.
This is one of our fellow passengers. We had a ball and learned all about racing a sailboat.
A lecture about safety...
We were all assigned sailing role responsibilities. Lucky for me all I did was the stop watch. We actually raced against another sailboat...a Canadian sailboat...we lost!
Our captain.
Yes, I was the only one who wore a life jacket. I took it off after the race was over.
It was nice to see Carnival testing their life boats.
Our paradise tonight...
Dinner
...and so proud of our daughter on completing her third Triathlon...way to go Stacy!
