Being a self help junkie I was sad to hear
Motivational speaker Zig Ziglar dies at age 86.
He was at the beginning of the self help movement.
I told several people about his death...no one in my circle has heard of him.

What a sad day all around.

On a happier note Gary is doing good, just the usual rheumatoid arthritis pain.

Mini Vacation for the Mechanic and I

My mechanic and I have been to the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, so many times we consider it our special vacation spot...

 

 

 

We arrived Monday morning at 8:30 at the Mayo ER, with Gary experiencing numbness to the right side of his body.

 

Diagnose:  Small Stroke

 

Cause:  High Blood Pressure

 

Cure:  Increase blood pressure medicine

 

Happy ending:  Gary is feeling much better

Finally as all vacations must come to an end...home!

So...what did I do today...

Well, I went to the Shop to do some book work.

Then went to the mall, saw a $389 purse I wanted, decided to wait on that purchase.

Then I went to a used bookstore I have been wanting to check out. Yes I bought more health books!

 



Then I bought a Starbucks coffee and drank it at the car wash.

Had a great Thanksgiving, guess I am ready for Monday morning and all that it will bring.

Thanks to my daughter for helping me to start this blog.  I have been wanting to start a blog for a while. I just want to use it as a journal.  For me to start looking at my everyday life by taking pictures and living in the now.
