It's nice having a baby in the family again...

 A Fiat at the Walmart...

and plenty of crows...

I couldn't pass up a fleece jacket with this label...Connor always likes cozy things...reminds me of Chris...

I finally made Chris one little batch of pickled okra...

 ...next time I need more okra and I need to really pack it...

Gary never comes up with dinner ideas...but this week he saw this corn and shrimp chowder and asked me to make it...

...so I did...and like most one pot meals it was a lot of work!  Cut up onions, bacon, potatoes, corn, clean shrimp and mustard greens!

...but it was delicious and looks just like the newspaper picture...
