So...Gary is home and doing well. Very sore but that is to be expected...He stayed overnight in the new section of NFRH...it was very new and nice.
Gary was ready for this Lumbar Laminecetomy as he has had severe back pain for a few years...
After surgery he was very hungry...the pulled pork sandwich the hospital offered wasn't to his liking...
He will have to wear a back brace for awhile as he is forbidden to bend, twist or lift.
I did enjoy my splurge of many cafe lattes made with organic soy milk....
I'm back at pool duty...something about rain brings out the worms and frogs...
After cleaning the pool filter the robot still wasn't working...so protocol calls for removing it from the pool and checking for leaves...first time I ever found a dead frog stuck in it.
I wasn't sure how to remove it as I didn't want to touch it...Gary suggested pliers. I thought of the gloves...and out it came.
Robot back in business...
Dinner...
Pumpkin, potato, carrot, onion and brown rice soup. |
His and Hers salad |
Brown rice and red kidney bean with a skinless chicken breast. |
