Our town is patriotic...

After visiting my mom, it was time to make egg muffins for Chris...

Eggs, sausage, onions, broccoli, spinach and cheese.

 Dinner...

Kale salad for me.

My morning view

 Spotted a large catfish near the shore...

My view from the roof...I cleaned gutters this morning...

Hot, muggy and a tad bit dirty...

I received this Snap Chat from Stacy...Chris taught me how to do a screen shot of the screen...looks like they are at the beach having fun!

 Dinner...

London Broil, corn on the cob and cole slaw.

Dinner...

Rib-eye steak, corn on the cob and spinach.

Burn off happening at our neighbor...the gas company.

I had to get a new key cylinder re-keyed...for a Honda CR-V.

This dried up bat was a little gift from Chaz and Elvin...found in the front end of a Ford F350. It's so well preserved  you can see his little teeth!

A differential...google again

The differential has three jobs:

• To aim the engine power at the wheels
• To act as the final gear reduction in the vehicle, slowing the rotational speed of the transmission one final time before it hits the wheels
• To transmit the power to the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds (This is the one that earned the differential its name.)

Sausage, potatoes, onions, bacon and cabbage.

Evening view from my awesome picture windows...lighting and thunder to accompany the rain.

Chaz replacing lower control arms on a vehicle...Control arms are part of the suspension system. They attach suspension members to the chassis and manage the motion of the wheels so that it synchronizes with that of the body of the car. (google again).

...and if you wonder why some repairs are costly...all this labor to replace a broken outside door handle.

Sometimes you just can't fix a Passat...so you push it to the Volkswagen specialist across the street.
