TGIF

My son's view today...the Santa Fe River.

Have you ever wondered what's under your dashboard?
This is why we get the big bucks! You try taking this apart and putting it back together...and having it work!
Our Tech is replacing an A/C evaporator case assembly.

We are getting away for a three day weekend!

Cool moth picture taken at the Kangaroo by my son's boss.
Only Wards would sell Quail eggs!  They are so little and cute! I could probably eat all of them in one sitting.

At FAR we are working on a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass. We are replacing the gas tank and getting it running right.
The outside needs body work but, the inside is in great shape.  No computers, No sensors.  It is a labor of love for our customer.

Some people stash candy and chips at work...the mechanic stashes books.
 Dinner...
Tuna, black beans over brown rice and cucumbers in sour cream

Wednesday

I didn't think the squash compost plant would produce anything as that area doesn't get much sun.  To my surprise we have flowers.

I've been trying to capture a squirrel on camera.  Today I had one eating berries on top of one of our large Cedar trees.
 Dinner...

Pan fried turnip, shredded yellow squash, avocado and filet-mignon
Pan fried turnips, shredded yellow squash, sliced portabella mushroom and a salad.
The twin let me know we have a Harvest moon tonight.

This is for all the family members who are addicted...you know who you are.

The pecan grove got mowed...for baling hay.
Baling hay into rolls requires two machines.  One to aerate the dry grass.
And one to lift the grass into the machine that will make it into a roll.

A husband and wife team worked all day...sun up to sun down.
The finished product.

 Dinner...
Lamb chop, bake potato, kale with fava beans and asparagus.

Yep, that's Addie and I taking advantage of her dad being out of town to raid his shell driveway.

...and guess what, we found a shark's tooth as well!
In case anyone was wondering what I am saving from the pool these days... cicada bugs.

Dinner...something quick as I was busy getting a hair cut.
The mechanic fried himself some shrimp
Salad and artichoke and a side of sauerkraut.

Sunday

The mechanic and I spent the day with our daughter and granddaughter.

Addie had fun serving me cookies and feeding her bunny.

We had lunch at a sports bar.
Addie and I trying to win a prize at the arcade. No luck.
Tampa has a huge Ikea store that I have been wanting to go to. So, we went...and it was big.  It takes a couple of hours to go thru it.
This really is the only store you need to shop in. It has everything for every room in the house.
Our trip normally takes around two hours...but this time due to an accident on I-75 we were at a crawl for an extra hour and forty-one minutes.
The accident stopped all six lanes of the interstate.

The trucks cargo spilled all over the road.
Finally all clear ahead.
It was great to see the Tampa city skyline.
The end of a great visit.
