My view early this morning...

 I drove into town to run some errands...and ended up buying some flowers...How I Love Spring...

 I had fun planting some of my purchases....purple is my color this Spring.

 The mechanic trimmed the banana trees.

My afternoon view...

I'm missing and thinking about the grandchildren...and doing a little shopping...Easter is just around the corner...on my son's birthday this year!

 Dinner...

Snapper, english peas and cabbage salad.

Instead of pretty Florida scenery pictures...my son sent me pictures of him and his boss working...looks like hard and complicated stuff.

Dinner...

Salmon, kale with mushrooms, celery, green bell peppers, onions and yellow squash patty.  And an avocado somewhere on the table.

 The twin and I cleaning and loading up the old deck to take to the dump.

 The mechanic brought the plants back...they now have more room on their new deck.

 Dinner...

Fried corn meal shrimp.

Shrimp, string beans with garlic and roasted beets in a vinaigrette.

I think everyone hordes a little something...the mechanic hordes Neutrogena shampoo..he's afraid the stores are going to stop selling this product.

Me, I horde glass...I'm afraid the world will turn into plastic...

 A few weeks ago I bought some kind of black rice at Wards...they labeled it Dirty rice.
I cooked it tonight and we thought it was pretty good...Tasted more like wild rice than brown rice...and cheaper than the wild kind.

Broccoli, tomatoes, onions, celery, carrots, and mushrooms over dirty rice and a salad with lots of pea sprouts.

Wednesday

One of my son's friends works at the airport and shot him his picture...Patrick Young and Scott Wilbekin on their way to the final four!

 ...and I took this picture at my son's house while I was dropping off a book I ordered for him...he started this Amaryllis from one of his dad's seeds.  It's in the 80s here in North Central Florida.

Dinner...

Mash sweet and regular potatoes, zucchini patties, salad with Nori seaweed.  We ate lots of rice and seaweed balls growing up living in Seaside California.
